Lyne F.C is pleased to support the Ngala girl’s football team in Kenya with supplying them with surplus Lyne F.C kit so they can not only play as a team but look like one as well.
The team are based in a town called Watamu which is a small town located approximately 105 km north of Mombasa and about 15 km south of Malindi on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It lies on a small headland, between the Blue Lagoon and Watamu Bay.
Lyne F.C were approached by Jamie Flints father (Jack) and asked if we had any spare kit for the kids out in Watamu, Lyne F.C as always were keen to help and supplied the kit from our stores in the clubhouse.
The girls as you can see are completely thrilled with their new kit!
I have no doubt this will become a good friendship between the two clubs which also has a netball and volleyball team as well.
Massive thank you must go to Jack Flint for coming up with the idea and transporting the kits out to Kenya.
We feel as a club this is something we can all be very proud of!
