As you can see from the figures above, Parkside will no doubt fancy their chances of winning the League this season and to be honest I think we would getting 54 points from 18 games and a positive goal difference of some 49.

Parkside’s pre-season  has also gone very well :

Parkside United 3 V 0 AFC Westend (GWAFL Premier)

Parkside United  7 V 1 Surrey Athletic (GWAFL Div 2)

Parkside United  8 V 0 Ockham (GWAFL Div 2)

Parkside United  1 V 1 Woking Park and Horsell (Surrey Intermediate Premier  reserves League)

So given all of the above Parkside will be very confident for the first game of the season against Lyne F.C.

Lyne F.C however is equally confident coming off the back of five wins on the bounce in pre-season:

5th September 2015 Lyne F.C Worplesdon Pheonix F.C 2 – 1
29th August 2015 Royal Holloway Old Boys FC Lyne F.C 1 – 2
18th August 2015 Frimley Green F.C Lyne F.C 1 – 3
15th August 2015 Lyne F.C Worplesdon Pheonix F.C 3 – 0
8th August 2015 Dunsfold F.C Lyne F.C 1 – 5

As you can see Lyne have had a great run in the last five matches but if the truth be known the squad are somewhat disappointed in the last couple of performances (We all have high standards)But then again if you win when not playing to your full potential I suppose you can’t be to critical.

The squad are proper buzzing to get the season underway and are very confident of their individual ability and more so their ability as a group.

As fixtures go this is a mouth-watering one to get the ball rolling this season!

It’s going to be an interesting afternoon, so why not come down and show your support.
