May 1st Review L.V.H.
A glorious day at LVH, the pitches are now drying quickly but still lush and green and offering some of the best surfaces in the area thanks to all the work we carried out last summer, an expensive investment but it’s proving to be a wise one.
Highlight on the day turned out to be our U9 age group who enjoyed a ‘friendly’ mix match between the two teams as they very successfully continue implementing the Lyne FC club ethos and structure for the greater benefit of all the players and team development as the U9’s journey from junior into youth football. Congratulations to the U9 coaches, managers and members, great to see the full support of parents and players as you implement the ethos structure from which Lyne FC can genuinely best develop individual football talents and maintain a great ‘age group’ team spirit. Well done all, great game too! Lots of pictures on your team forum! Great fun!
Our u17’s limped over the line, ending their league season with defeat in the derby. Unlucky lads but I hear you have a prestigious friendly at the Beveree Stadium, home of our friends at H&R to look forward to next week. Thats a great stadium and venue to sign off the season. Well played
Sunday 8th May is the last Sunday of the season. L.V.H. will be very busy and we have silverware up for grabs when the Panthers strive for glory at 10am. Don’t miss it!
All ready for Friday 6th ???….. Come on Lyne! The ‘mens’ 1st team take on Holland Sports as we attempt to win the Surrey FA County Cup for the first time in our club history. We’re buzzing! Looking forward to seeing the Orange Army on Friday evening at Westfield Stadium, Woking! 7.30pm K.O….Come on you Lyne!!!
